Food insecurity is a growing concern for college students nationwide, and Howard Payne wants to help ensure that current HPU students have basic needs met. QUALIFICATIONS

• 食物被赋予了积分值, and the following point value system will be used to determine how many items can be obtained per visit, with extra consideration given in point values for students with dependent family members:

• Students will be allowed to fill a bag with items up to their number of points.
• These points are per visit only and do not roll over to subsequent visits. See chart above.
• The volunteer attendant will verify the items selected by the student and note the types of items selected in an effort to keep the pantry stocked with necessary items.

Many college students are able to continue health insurance coverage under their parents’ health plan. Students should always verify this information before beginning college and also determine how long they will be eligible for coverage under their parents’ plan.
